Self Defense Products Self Defense – How do you decide?

With all the different types of Self Defense products on the market today, how determine which products are right for you and for what situation? I can honestly answer this question! It is not just a personal choice. Must have knowledge basic product you are considering buying. Some products are very easy to use (such as pepper spray and electronic
whistles) and sometimes can be only a
little more intimidating to use (for example, kubotans, stun guns and stun batons).

RegardIess of what product self-defense you choose, you should practice and become familiar with the weapon of self defense. The reason I call a weapon is because it will be used as such. You must be sure what when the need arises to react instinctively and powerfully. You are being attacked and having the right to protect yourself and your family!

Do everything possible to avoid a confrontation – "anticipation and prevention" are the keywords. If you are caught in a situation, try to talk to an aggressor without provoking them. Practice relaxation, as shown fear or stress can actually trigger an attack. Remember that body language is important in aggressive situations, so keep a distance comfortable between you and the aggressor.

This technique is not always successful and that's when you should be ready to act.

A harder, well placed blow can easily can break bones – especially if the blow is not hindered by clothing.

The most basic applications involve striking or pushing vulnerable areas the body with the Kubotan. Generally speaking, swinging strikes work better against bony surfaces while fleshy areas are more susceptible to taps and beaten with the ends of Kubotan. With this concept in mind, the person avoids the confusion and frustration of trying to remember specific strikes for specific targets. Instead, it simply remembers to strike bones and soft tissue push and pressure points.

This cycle quick work instantly depletes the attacker's blood sugar by converting it into lactic acid.

In short, it is unable to produce energy for your muscles and your body can not function properly. The stun gun also interrupts the tiny neurological impulses that control and direct movement voluntary muscle. When the attacker's neuromuscular system is overwhelmed and controlled by the stun gun he loses his balance. If the attacker is touched, no current will your body!

There are numerous types of stun guns on the market today. Each has a role to play. Again, this boils down to personal choice. Stun Guns can range from 50,000 volts to 1,000,000 volts.
